USP Your Town Audit
The USP Your Town Audit has been developed to complement the national data already available about your town through Understanding Scottish Places. The approach has been developed to offer a simple way of capturing locally available data on towns.
The USP Your Town Audit Manual available below guides you through the process of gathering a range of helpful indicators across the different categories. These can be collated on the USP Your Town Audit Template provided. By collating this data in one place, you can draw analysis and easily compare results year on year.
USP Your Town Audits can also be used to compare with other towns in your region and nationally. We hope that over time, USP Your Town Audits can be gathered, shared and visualised as part of the Understanding Scottish Places website, enabling easy comparison. If you are using the USP Your Town Audit and would be willing to share your material for this purpose, please contact Ewan Robertson. For the time being, there are several USP Your Town Audit case studies available to view below.
The audit provides users with an analysis of more than 50 measures across the 7 KPI themes:
- Locality Data
- Local Services
- Development Capacity
- Tourism and Visitor Profile
- Place/Quality Impression
