Duns is located in Scottish Borders. It was the county town for Berwiskshire. It suffered greatly in the Middle Ages from cross border raiding. Today it is a service centre with activities linked to the surrounding agricultural area including Vion (poultry), P D Hook (poultry) and Farne (fish processing).
