North Queensferry is in Fife. As the name suggests its history has been tied to the crossing point on the Forth. It takes its name from when Queen Margaret made the crossing. Ferries ran across the Forth. The rail brisdge also came ashore at North Queensferry and then in the 1960s the road bridge arrived at North Queensferry superseding the long running car ferry. Its accessibility makes it popular with commuters.
